The article warns about the dangers of relying on the AI chatbot ChatGPT, which has gained widespread adoption, but lacks the ability to understand meaning or content. Its illusion of understanding can lead to the dissemination of incorrect or misleading information. Companies and individuals using ChatGPT for important matters risk their reputation and trust, as well as legal and personal data risks. The author encourages a discerning use of ChatGPT for the greater benefit of society.
